Dear Mother Nature,
Today I lost your respect, I killed the ants beneath my feet, I provoked the birds as they slept
In my pain I chose to hate, For my vanity destroyed the love, I ignored your laws though they guided me, Now I'm lost in the darkness above,
Dear Mother Nature,
Today I lost your trust, I killed my brother and his family, For my beliefs, I believed it was just,
In my confusion, I fought for insanity And It caused the tears in my sorrowed eyes, I forgot it was love that you taught me For this I sincerely apologise.
